The International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS)

An international group of dance medicine practitioners, dance educators, dance scientists, and dancers, which currently has 900 members world-wide, representing 35 countries. IADMS aims to enhance the health, well-being, training and performance of dancers by cultivating educational, medical and scientific excellence.


The National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science (NIDMS)

Provides injury clinics that understand the demands of dance.  To achieve this affordably and sustainably NIDMS have set up specialist NHS dance injury clinics as well as partnering with private clinics.  NIDMS provides three main strands of specialist healthcare for dancers, performers, students, teachers and choreographers.


One Dance UK’s Healthier Dance Programme

Works under the education programme of the National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science (NIDMS). Through their work in advocacy and education, they aim to improve the physical and psychological health and wellbeing of dancers.
