At the heart of my work is support for movers through coaching and education.
Psychoeducation and Workshops
My teaching and recommendations are based on my own and others’ scientific research.
Each workshop is tailored to the dance/performance/creative context, taking into consideration style, age, likely career trajectories, and other relevant information (e.g. boarding, assessing out). I ask for this information in advance, and sometimes ask participants to complete a worksheet first to get a feel for how I can help. I introduce basic principles to younger* attendees but use more scientific terms with vocational students and professionals.
*I have completed NSPCC Safeguarding Training & hold an Enhanced DBS.
